PHAROS is a member of the E.G. Strategakis Educational Group, which has activities in ten countries in Southeast Europe. The Group is involved in foreign language education, English language publishing and distribution, administration of international English language examinations and Tertiary education.

PHAROS is the leading network of schools for foreign languages in Bulgaria. It was established in 1991 and it offers top quality courses out of twenty branches in Sofia and in other major cities.

All our courses are designed with a learner-centered philosophy and they are strictly graded against the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Over the years we have developed courses for all age-groups, as well as specialised courses for adults for a wide range of professional fields.

Our courses for young learners and teenagers incorporate a wide range of supplementary classroom and home-study printed and digital materials, aiming to expand and consolidate the knowledge that the student acquires during the lesson. Additionally our pupils and students can take advantage of a number of extra-curricular language activities that PHAROS organises for them, such as clubs, workshops, projects and competitions. All these activities are additional to the regular teaching programme and they are absolutely free of charge.

Our courses for adults take into consideration the special needs of the adult learner, such as intensity, timetable flexibility and home-study constraints. They usually consist of a general core and they can be supplemented with a vocational terminology component. PHAROS also offers general as well as custom-made courses for corporate clients.
